Starting a business on your own can be incredibly unpredictable, and in today’s economy, it feels like nothing is a guarantee. Without the proper financial counsel, it’s hard to know if you’re spending wisely or being too frugal. Franchising has simplified all of that, so now you can start a business without worrying about the financials.

Signarama is a global franchise with over 400 locations to date. Our business concept has been market-tested, our sign franchise costs ensure that you don’t overspend, and our franchisees have a team of experts to go to if they have any questions. We want to make sure you have all the information you need to make an educated investment, so let’s take some time to go through all of what you should expect.

Total Investment: $200,000-$250,000

The total investment of $200,000 includes all of the costs required to start a business under our highly respected brand name. It includes your liquid capital, franchise fee, and all of your other initial costs to start a Signarama. Considering our sign franchise costs and everything you’ll get in return, we believe that this cost is considerably lower than other franchise brands with far less evidence of success.

Franchise Fee: $49,500

Out of all your entire sign franchise costs, the franchise fee is one of the most significant payments you will make. For this fee, you will receive the rights to do business under our brand name, access to our operations manual, and ongoing support from our corporate team of industry experts. Franchisors can set this price as they see fit; some of the larger brands, however, require over $100,000 to gain entry into their brand. We want to help position your business for long-term success, which is why we try to keep our franchise fee as low as possible.

Liquid Capital: $60,000

Owning a business is much less stressful when you know you have reserve funds at the ready. These funds will help you in the early days to pay for ongoing costs while you wait for your Signarama to turn a profit. Those ongoing costs could include advertising spend, rent, or even royalty payments. We want to make sure that you have this capital available going in so you are prepared to handle whatever your business may throw your way.

Royalty Fees

Typically, a royalty fee is a flat percentage of revenue made to the franchisor every month. Most franchisors keep the same rate for all their franchisees, but Signarama does it a bit differently. Our royalty fee scale is from 6%, 4%, and 2% based on each of our partner’s unique situation.
