Huntington Station, NY (June 23, 2021) – Signarama of Huntington has been the sign design, fabrication, and installation company of choice for thousands of satisfied clients since 1988. In a recent announcement by the acclaimed industry publication Signs of the Times, Co-Owner and President of the local franchise, Dawn Tiritter-Bent, was named a recipient of 2021’s Women in Signs Award.

The inaugural award serves as a showcase of six women spread across the US and Canada who have displayed excellence in business ownership/management, design, fabrication, installation, sales or marketing, and, preferably, community involvement. Over 300 submissions were tallied in the end, with the field reduced to 18 impressive candidates by Signs of the Times Editor-in-Chief Mark Kissling and Managing Editor Grant Freking, and then further reduced to the 6 winners.

Dawn Bent bought into the Signarama franchise in Huntington Station 33 years ago at the age of 21, combining her graphic design background with the mechanical engineering background of her fellow co-owner, Michael Ziccardi. Their mix of expertise, local/national project experience, and decades in the industry have made them some of the most recognized, adhered to members of the brands global network of 700+ locations.

“It’s incredibly humbling to be recognized by your industry as a leading figure in your profession,” says Dawn Tiritter-Bent. “Although, if my time in business has taught me anything, it’s the value of the local community that has supported our growth over the years and the men and women on our team responsible for providing our client services here on Long Island and around the US. This award is for all of us.”

Signarama affords its clients a wide variety of services, including digital/custom sign design, fabrication and installation, lighting, project maintenance and management, website and digital marketing creation, and more. It’s this deep roster of signage and marketing packages offered by their creative experts that have attracted so many lifelong clients to the brand.

“Helping businesses grow and realize their signage needs has always been the primary motivator for our team, and the pandemonium that’s taken over much of the business community over the last year has only deepened that resolve. I firmly believe the best is yet to come for our team and for the clients we support,” says Tiritter-Bent.
